RECASE 'Client Seaway Heavy Lifting is responsible for the development, procurement, Installation (EPCI) of the founding structure for the offshore wind farm Trianel Windpark Borkum II in the German Bay.
RECASE has now been commissioned to take over the design of the electrical equipment for the modulus of elasticity of the monopile founding structure. This includes numerous subsystems, from the medium-voltage switchgear via the sea signs to the interface with the wind power installation.
Lorenz-H. Carstensen, managing director of RECASE and project manager for this project, emphasizes: "The electrical equipment of the founding structure of an offshore project is 100% based on our expertise, experience and capacity for the implementation of such projects. This mission is a first-class example of the RECASE's ability to deliver a comprehensive and smart system design. "
Trianel Windpark Borkum II is to be the second development stage of the Trianel Windpark, which was commissioned in September 2015, 45 kilometers north of Borkum in the German North Sea Borkum. The 32 turbines of the Senvion 6.XM series are to be erected according to current planning by autumn 2019 and have an installed capacity of around 203 megawatts (MW).
