The companies have an MOU signed. Burtek will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of the WIND-e20®, managing the value stream, and to work with CGE to check and improve CGE’s design for cost-effective manufacturability.

Burtek is a world leading and industry recognized full-service design, engineering, and manufacturing organization. This 5-star military contractor has 25-years of design, production, testing and integration of complex systems and applications for mobile military ground vehicles, radar platforms and other systems for the Department of Defense.

As a "Ship When Ready Supplier" of Northrop Grumman, Burtek prides themselves in delivery. "Burtek has taken a radar system from concept design to final combat zone delivery in a six month timeframe," says Bryan Zaplitny, President of CGE. "That solidified them as the perfect manufacturing partner for WIND-e20®."

Burtek’s 230,000 square foot flexible manufacturing environment is ready to be optimized for efficient and timely delivery of WINDe-20®. "As a partner of CGE on the WIND-e20® program, we are going to have to be responsive," says Burtek President Jeff Daniel. "We are going into production in 2014."
