Also included in the the order are the Vestas de-icing system and a 10-year Active Output Management service agreement.

Vestas plans to start turbine deliveries in the second quarter of 2018.

It is the fourth order placed by OX2 this year. The two companies have been cooperating for over 10 years and this partnership has yielded over 900 MW of wind projects in the Nordics.

OX2 Wind managing director Paul Stormoen said: “With the Högkölen wind farm, we further strengthen our long-standing partnership with Vestas as well as our market position in northern Europe as a leading developer and EPC supplier.

“Högkölen will be OX2’s 36th wind power project in the Nordics.”

Vestas Northern Europe president Klaus Steen Mortensen said: “We are very proud that OX2 has yet again chosen our upgraded 3 MW platform for their latest project."

OX2 recently agreed to divest the Hogkolen wind park in Ljusdal municipality to alternative asset manager Aquila Capital.
