REpower will deploy the turbines, each with a rated power of 6.15MW and a hub height of 114m, in the Westereems wind farm near Eemshaven in the Dutch province of Gronigen.
The Westereems wind farm has the current installed power of 156MW, and will now be extended with a further 12.3MW.
As well as the delivery and construction of the wind turbines, the turnkey project also involves the manufacturing of the foundations.
Completion is planned for mid 2012.
