EDF Energy’s newly extended EcoRenew range of microgeneration and renewable heating products now includes the Daikin Altherma High Temperature Air Source Heat Pump.

EDF Energy Energy Services head Angus Wilby said the company is helping customers reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions.

"The High Temperature Air Source Heat Pump offers customers with homes which are difficult to insulate and where heating system upgrades are not viable a great low carbon alternative to a fossil fuel boiler," Wilby said.

"Low Temperature Heat Pumps only perform well if a property is insulated."

EDF Energy has partnered with Daikin since April 2011.
