Under the contract, REpower will deliver a total of 68 of MM92 type wind turbines for the power project placed in north of the Maryland-Pennsylvania border.

The turbines have a rated power of 2.05MW and a hub height of either 80m or 100m each.

Commissioning of the wind farm is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of next year.

Upon completion, the wind power project will produce a total output of nearly 140MW, and the clean, renewable energy generated by the wind farm is enough to power about 38,000 homes.

Twin Ridges is the second project between REpower and EverPower, and the parties are finalizing their first project together at the 25 turbine Howard wind farm in New York.
