The new water heating module, through an efficient natural gas engine, extracts energy from the atmosphere and pumps this heat to useful temperatures.

Free waste heat from the engine is captured and repurposed, adding to the unit’s capacity and efficiency.

Ilios High Efficiency Water Heater provides about twice the efficiency and half the fuel consumption of a conventional gas-fired boiler.

The heat pump can produce 400,000 to 600,000BTU/hr of hot water, and the system is ideal for commercial and industrial sites with substantial hot water requirements.

The new system can be used in mid-sized hotels, swimming pools, nursing homes, hospitals, health clubs, student dormitories, universities, residential buildings, recreation centers, commercial buildings, and waterparks.

Ilios Dynamics COO Martin McDonough said the Ilios High Efficiency Water Heater uses advanced thermodynamic principles and new technology to cut heating costs and carbon emissions.
