The largest order was received for a selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) project for a medium-sized combustion unit located in the US.

The second order, to provide engineering and fabrication services for SNCR equipment for a medium-sized combustion unit in the Southeast US, was placed by an unnamed utility customer.

The company’s third order was to supply a temporary SNCR system for a combustion unit in the South Central US.

Fuel Tech will begin equipment deliveries for all three orders in 2012.

The SNCR process is a post-combustion nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction method which reduces NOx through the controlled injection of reagent into the post-combustion flue gas path.
