The Lumenatrix Backlighting System combines LED lighting technology with translucent panels to deliver energy-efficient backlit columns, replacing wall-mounted fluorescent light fixtures and consuming as little as one watt per square foot.
Lumenatrix, which is designed to replace power-heavy light fixtures, features integrated driver and optical components that support long lasting and easily changeable LEDs thereby lowering maintenance costs and eliminating the need for emergency attention.
Each panel of Lumenatrix also consists of a structural power rail grid system that provides low voltage to the LED lights, while its heat sink design and the integrated thermal protection prevents each fixture from overheating and keeps the lights at 81 degrees for greater longevity.
Lumenatrix designed for walls, ceilings, accents, canopies and facades, is available as either as tiles that can be can be fabricated on a custom basis or as panels, which can be fabricated as thin as 2.5 inches to provide total ambient illumination.
Duo-Gard president David Miller said that Lumenatrix leverages the most advanced LED technology that can significantly lower power consumption and is a great option for buildings in sectors such as hospitality and medical.
