The sale of the wind power project is in line with the company’s strategy of divesting its non-core assets.

According to the company, the transaction includes the transfer of both assets and liabilities, along with long-term loans.

Meanwhile, the company also has wind projects lined up across the Indian states of Rajasthan, Tamil nadu and Karnataka. These projects are anticipated to lower approximately 470,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.

Earlier in April 2013, the company also announced the sale of wind power projects in Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.

DLF, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the business of colonization and real estate development in India. Its activities include identification and acquisition of land; and planning, execution, construction, and marketing of projects, such as residential, commercial, and retail properties.
