As part of the collaboration, Koenig will receive rechargeable batteries including both stationary and mobile devices from Interstate Batteries.

Koenig CEO Pamela Richardson said the partnership will enable the company to streamline service, replacement, and recycling of lithium ion batteries used in all of its applications.

"Interstate Batteries is uniquely capable to provide a single source solution for all of our needs," Richardson said.

Initial collaboration includes Koenig strategic partner The DayDra Holdings Group on a 328-acre business development that includes retail facilities, office and light industrial spaces.

Koenig said the entertainment and sporting venues proposed by developer The DayDra Holdings Group in Limestone County, Alabama.
