Lighting Science Group’s LED bulbs will replace uneconomical 70W ceramic metal halide (CMH) bulbs, reducing the mural’s wattage by 279W for a total electrical savings of 40% and an additional 12% in HVAC savings.
The location will use Lighting Science Group’s ultra-efficient Definity PAR 38 LED bulbs to illuminate its flagship mural.
Sprouts construction & facility engineering vice president Jerry Stutler said by installing Lighting Science’s efficient and long-lasting LED lighting Sprouts will reduce stress on the state’s energy infrastructure, save maintenance costs and brighten the shopping experience.
The LED bulbs will reduce power consumption, increase maintenance savings, and boasting a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
