Cooper Lighting’s new products will replace and retrofit over 1,000 city street lights along collector roadways, bridges and in residential areas.

The energy efficiency project is being funded by the federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block grant, part of the American Recover and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and is expected to be complete in this month.

The company worked with city officials to provide the products including Lumark Ridgeview LED area luminaires and RC Cobrahead LED roadway luminaires, Invue Epic LED decorative area luminaires and the custom Cooper Lighting LED Decorative Post Top Retrofit Kit.

Cooper Lighting, a subsidiary of Cooper Industries, is a provider of lighting fixtures and controls to commercial, industrial, retail, institutional, residential and utility markets.
