The new firm will provide electric-vehicle drivers with easy access to participating charging stations using common
authentication credentials and enable single bill for all charging usage.

In addition, the company will also accurately provide aggregated EV charging station location data and employ an open national interoperability standards.

ChargePoint president and CEO Pat Romano said that Collaboratev will provide EV drivers with access to all stations, locations, availability and mapping features in the public domain.

ECOtality CEO Ravi Brar added, "This is a clear sign of market maturation by establishing a seamless process for EV drivers to charge across networks.
