Climatec, which provides energy audits and energy systems across a number of vertical markets, will deploy the networked Telkonet SmartEnergy system across five campuses within the district that will provide centralized system management and remote access.
This system has been designed to provide access to raw data, which can be used for third party energy measurement and verification of the energy savings guaranteed by Climatec Energy services.
Climatec Energy Services vice president Steve Siverson said that the company identified Telkonet as having a cost effective solution for reducing HVAC energy consumption in schools.
“Telkonet SmartEnergy will help us meet our goals and provide access to the data we need to satisfy our obligations to the school district,” Siverson said.
