As per the Solar Fund initiative launched by SPP and JCM, the partners have commenced work on 54MW of projects.
AVACOS will develop some of 54MW of solar projects, and is expected to begin construction this year.
The Fund focuses on the installation of solar projects on commercial and industrial buildings across Ontario, under the province’s feed-in-tariff program via solar power purchase agreements with the Ontario Power Authority.
