Said to be the largest in India, the new manufacturing plant will increase the company’s production capacity to 1,600MW.
The plant will be capable of producing 400 rotor blade sets annually. It will eventually start producing 400 nacelles and hubs, 300 towers every year.
Inox Wind CEO Kailash Tarachandani said: "The commissioning of the Madhya Pradesh facility is a significant milestone for Inox Wind.

The enhanced capacity will enable the company to maintain its position as the leading manufacturer of wind turbine generators in India."
The new manufacturing facility will improve production of the company’s 100m rotor dia product, as well as producing its 113m rotor dia product.
Currently, Inox Wind operates manufacturing plants near Ahmedabad, Gujarat for blades and tubular towers, at Una, Himachal Pradesh for hubs and nacelles and an integrated manufacturing facility at Barwani, Madhya Pradesh for nacelles, hubs, blades and towers.
In addition to producing key components of wind turbine generators (WTG), Inox Wind also offers a range of turnkey services including wind resource assessment, acquiring land, developing the entire site infrastructure, building the power evacuation system, supplying the WTGs, erection and commissioning services, long term operations and maintenance services as well as postcommissioning support.
