The turbines with a total capacity of 65MW come from 19 wind farms on Jutland.
Vattenfall said that the sale of smaller wind farms will allow it to focus on large onshore and offshore wind power projects.
Vattenfall generation in business area wind business unit head Martin Reinholdsson said: "The size of these wind farms does not match Vattenfall’s strategic direction, which is why we decided to sell them.
"We can now concentrate on further developing and strengthening our position in Denmark in the sector of large-scale onshore and offshore wind power."
The company is currently investing in both onshore and offshore wind power in Denmark.
Vattenfall has replaced 35 older turbines with 22 new at Klim wind farm in North-West Jutland, making it Denmark’s largest onshore wind farm in terms of output.
Siemens delivered 22 3.2MW Direct Drive turbines to the Klim wind farm, which will generate clean electricity that will be enough to power around 58,000 households.
Additionally, project planning is underway for the 400MW Horns Rev 3 wind farm off the west coast of Jutland.
Horns Rev 3 will contribute to Denmark’s and EU goal to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to 2020.
Currently, Vattenfall operates over 1000 turbines in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK which generate 4TWh of electricity in total every year.
