The plants were planned following the publication of regulations for the building of 5 MW solar power plants and the sale of electricity from them to the national grid. Power producers are guaranteed fixed payments over 20 years.
This is first venture of the company into building mid-sized photovoltaic power plants (up to 5 MW) on kibbutzim and moshavim.
