The contract covers execution of the wind farms’ electrical installations and the civil engineering work as well as the supply, assembly, installation, start-up and maintenance of 75 Gamesa G90 turbines.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gamesa will operate the facility and provide maintenance services for a five-year period.

Gamesa plans to build the wind farms immediately, and expects the work to be completed between the end of 2010 and the first quarter of 2011.

This transaction comes on the heels of another two agreements in force between Gamesa and companies of the same group for the installation of another 62MW between two wind farms in Valladolid (Castile-Leon) facilities, which are already under construction.

Meanwhile, new agreements are expected to be close with the same developer in the near future for construction of several wind farms.
