Three Gorges New Energy is a subsidiary of the China Three Gorges Corporation and specializes in investment and operations in the renewable energy space that includes wind, solar, hydropower and other clean energy technologies.
Commenting on the order JinkoSolar chairman Xiande Li remarked that the modules supplied by the company will help maximize the energy generated over the lifetime of the plant.
"The increased amount of electricity being generated from renewable energy sources, from solar in particularly, will gradually changes the Chinese energy portfolio.
"This strategic partnership with Three Gorges New Energy will further strengthen the Company’s position in China’s renewable market," said Li.
Three Gorges New Energy Project deputy general manager Zhengfeng Yang added that the two companies would together drive China’s future in renewable energy to provide the nation with Eco-friendly solutions.
