Parkson will market and sell MIOX’s line of proprietary hypochlorite and mixed-oxidant systems to municipal water and wastewater customers in the US, Canada and six Middle East countries.
MIOX’s cost-effective and green technology combines salt, water and electricity to replace the need to transport and store bulk liquid or gaseous chlorine.
As an exclusive distribution partner of MIOX effective 1 June 2011, Parkson will provide plants with a technology that can save money and improve their process, the company said.
Parkson president and CEO Zain Mahmood said MIOX’s cost-effective and green technology extends the company’s reach into the drinking water segment while leveraging its strengths in the municipal wastewater treatment space.
Parkson also said its line of disinfection technology offers the self-cleaning cells and low maintenance systems to ensure that plants operate at the highest efficiency possible.
