The B75 rotor blades will be installed at the 6MW prototype offshore wind power system in Denmark’s Østerild test station.

The rotors employ the patented IntegralBlade process, wherein the entire blade is poured as a single piece made of glass fiber-reinforced epoxy resin and balsa wood.

The resulting blades have neither seams nor bonded joints and are extremely robust.

QuantumBlade technology ensures that the weight of the blades, which span as wide as the wingspan of an Airbus A380, are 20% lesser than conventionally produced blades.

The tips of the blades move at a maximum speed of 80 meters per second, or 290 kilometers per hour with each rotor covering 18,600m2 of space.
