Under the contract, Vestas will deliver 22 units of the V90-2MW wind turbine, which will be installed at the Tolvmanstegen wind facility in the Municipality of Stromstad in Sweden.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five-year service agreement.

Vestas vice president of sales for Nordics and Baltic states Krister Jonsson said that Eolus and Vestas have been business partners for over 20 years driving the development of wind power forward in Sweden.

The commissioning of the wind turbines is expected to start in October 2011.

Eolus Vind is engaged in planning, projecting and establishing wind power plants in Sweden.
