Loaded with all the necessary photovoltaic modules, Momo moves to the designated location before assembling and moving on to the next one.
A three-dimensional camera which is mounted on the gripper captures the complete assembly process of the modules and adjusts deviations.
PV-Kraftwerker Managing Director Eberhard Schulz believes that withMomo there will be hardly any modules breakages, programming will eliminate assembly errors and fitters no longer suffer from assembly related injuries.
"Momo can cope with tricky terrain and gradients with great accuracy," adds Schulz.
The company expects an 80% improvement in efficiency with Momo expected to cover up to 70kms per assembly in all weather conditions.
This new robot will be ideal for large area assemblies, where installers face difficult terrain and have to cover large distances.
