Under the contract, Siemens has received an order to supply two SGT6-8000H gas turbines and two SGen6-2000H generators for the Empalme II combined cycle power plant in Sonora, Mexico.
The contract scope also includes technical assistance during construction and commissioning of the plant.
The consortium is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the $397m power plant, which features two gas turbo-generator units, two heat recovery boilers with three pressure levels and a steam turbine.
Siemens Power and Gas Division for Latin America vice-president José Aparicio said: "CFE is becoming a pioneer in the integration of environmentally-compatible and resource-saving power generation solutions in Latin America.
"With these steps, Mexico will become an energy hub in the region and a reference for other similar projects."
The power plant, which will be operated by state-owned power provider Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), is planned to be commissioned in April 2018.
Since the spring of 2015, Siemens has received orders for six H-class gas turbines for the 770MW Empalme I, 791MW Empalme II and 615MW Valle de México II combined cycle power plants in Mexico.
The firm is also under a contract to deliver two SGT6-5000F gas turbines for the Tula plant located in Hidalgo, Mexico.
