As per the terms of the agreement, Brilliance Auto will receive a sample consignment of five lithium-ion high-power battery units.
The units will be mounted on Brilliance Auto’s electric cars for testing their performance and reliability.
China BAK CEO Xiangqian Li is hopeful of receiving additional orders and expanding the scope of their cooperation with Brilliance Auto on successful completion of this testing.
"Our cooperation with Brilliance Auto demonstrates our market recognition and the strong commitment of our team to expand our customer base," added Li.
With production facilities in Shenzhen and Tianjin, both in the People’s Republic of China, China BAK manufactures battery cells that are the principal component of rechargeable batteries.
