The permit will allow R360 to use a mobile waste treatment unit in a centralized location to the well sites to receive and process drilling fluids, drill cuttings and processed water for the landfill.
The centralized mobile waste treatment center will cut down on the amount of waste treated at the well site, the company said.
R360 also provides sustainable solutions for oil industry waste including R3 RoadBase, which allows operators to convert stockpiled, environmentally treated exploration and production waste material into quality road base.
R360 executive vice president Manny Gonzalez said the company is committed to working with its clients and state regulators to find the best solutions for oilfield waste.
"The benefits are reduced greenhouse gases associated with transport to remote treatment sites and minimized risk resulting from shorter trips," Gonzalez said.
US-based R360 is an oilfield environmental solutions company that provides E&P waste and water recycling, as well as treatment and disposal solutions to oil and gas producers.
