GEO and BBB have partnered with the intention of increasing the state’s participation in the New Energy Economy.

According to the companies, through a website, residents and business owners can select energy efficiency and renewable energy measures and incentives. Then, they can use the list provided by the BBB to select contractors who grant the needed services from the same site.

Businesses that already have a file with the BBB are automatically included on the list of vendors providing energy services through the website. Contractors and service providers still wishing to be listed can visit the GEO’s current website and fill out a ‘Vendor Database Form’.

GEO said that partnership will help consumers connect with the service providers for energy upgrades, thereby eliminating the challenge that the consumers face is matching their energy needs with contractors that can help them complete the job. Similarly, the contractors across the state, who often don’t have the resources to reach those who might benefit from their services, will gain advantage through this collboration.

Dale Mingilton, president and CEO of BBB, Denver/Boulder, said: “Our office and other BBB chapters across the state are proud to join the GEO in this campaign.

“Having access to BBB databases will help make it easier for consumers and businesses to find organizations that provide the products and services they need to participate in this New Energy Economy.”
