LAWA is a Los Angeles city department that owns and operates three airports in Southern California including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) and Van Nuys Airport (VNY). LAWA selected Enviance as a partner as it needed a system set to meet the carbon management requirements of its intricate network of airport systems.

LAWA has previously used Enviance to construct a compliance calendar that meets evolving EPA reporting requirements and deadlines. Using Enviance Environmental ERP, LAWA was able to synthesize reporting and notifications in a transparent system, the company claimed.

Enviance added that its internet-based GHG FastTrack will allow LAWA to fully implement any new facility in 60 days or less to credibly, accurately and efficiently monitor, calculate and report emissions.

Nigel Nugent, vice president of sales for Enviance, said: ”LAWA and its network of airports have the same complex emissions requirements and reporting challenges as a medium-sized city. LAWA’s expansion to the GHG FastTrack solution is a testament to its commitment to do everything possible to manage and reduce carbon emissions.”
