The contract requires Vestas to supply 70 units of the V110-1.8 MW turbine for the project in the Songkla and Nakhon Si Thamarat provinces.
The deal includes the supply, supervision of erection, and commissioning of the turbines, in addition to a five-year AOM 4000 service contract.
Vestas will deliver the turbines in 2016, the same year when the wind farm is expected to become operational.

Besides generating renewable electricity, Energy Absolute also manufactures and distributes methyl ester biodiesel products in Thailand and internationally.
It also manufactures high speed diesel oil and glycerin products; and manufactures and distributes liquefied petroleum gas.
In August, Vestas secured a contract from German wind power developer wpd to supply turbines for the Tohkoja project in Kalajoki, Finland.
So far, Vestas delivered over 69GW of wind turbines across the globe.
