OEPC comprises numerous environmental and energy programs, many of which were established to comply with Presidential Executive Order 13423, “Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management,” and Executive Order 13514, “Federal Leadership in Environmental, Energy, and Economic Performance.”

Touchstone’s experienced professionals provide a number of sustainability services. The company has consulted for the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

For SBA, Touchstone promoted Environmental Protection Agency resources to help small businesses adopt environmentally friendly and energy-efficient business practices. This included the creation of the Business.Gov Green Business Guide, which provides an overview of green practices, and a cross-government search that helps small business owners access and take advantage of environmentally friendly practices.

Touchstone has worked with NOAA since 2003. The company most recently supported the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) by assisting with strategy design and facilitation to fundamentally change how the NMFS Northeast Region’s groundfish stock is managed. With Touchstone’s help, NMFS engaged the fishing industry to develop new data monitoring programs that focus on output versus input measures, which will help restore depleted fish stocks and revitalize the fishing industry in the Northeast.
