The plant is estimated, when it is completed in 2010, to account for about one quarter of Adelaide’s drinking water needs. The desalination plant in Adelaide is one of several projects launched in Australia in order to ensure access to drinking water in the future. The order will be booked in its entirety during the first quarter.

“This is a substantial and significant order for us that shows the breadth and potential our offering as the need for clean water increases in our world,” says Peter Aru, Cardo’s president and chief executive officer.
