Each AKSEL chair begins life from trees which are independently chosen and cautiously inspected to meet AKSEL’s exacting standards and commitment to the sustainability. The seats are hand woven utilizing traditional methods and usually with sea grass. However an alternative for company’s seats is a special weave made from the recycled paper, which is remarkably durable.
AKSEL’s customers have the pleasure of choice, from 3 rung to 7 rung backs, choice of seats and a near infinite variety of custom colors, the more traditional all natural or oiled wood.
The AKSEL line incorporates chairs for kids, barstools, rocking chairs and a generously proportioned series for those seeking more width. All company chairs are built to last a generation or more.
