The eight-year deal is for the contingency and repair of export and array cables for offshore wind farms across the UK and Northern Europe.
It covers all of Dong’s sites in Europe, including nine offshore wind farms in the UK, five in Denmark and four in Germany.
The deal will start from May 2015 for a five-year fixed period with the options to extend by additional three years.
Dong Energy Wind Power vice president and head of asset management Benj Sykes said: "Ensuring that export and array cable issues are quickly resolved is vital to maintaining reliable operation of our wind farms.
"This framework agreement builds on our existing relationship with the Briggs Group and is designed to ensure availability of power and mitigate against any possible production losses."
Briggs Group managing director Collieson Briggs said: "Concluding an agreement of this magnitude is a great achievement for our offshore cables business and our ongoing relationship with Dong Energy is a testimony of our experience in this area."
Briggs has more than 40 years experience in the marine sector. The company has been involved with the installation of marine and renewable energy devices since 1995 with the initial deployment of a tidal device in Shetland.
