The contract will require Vestas to supply 24 units of V100-2.0 MW turbines for CGN Fujian Anxi Longmen Wind Farm project in the Fujian province.

CGN (Anxi) Wind Power currently has Vestas wind turbines totaling 960MW installed in China.

Vestas Asia Pacific & China president Chris Beaufait said: "Vestas installed its first wind turbine in China in 1986 and has since introduced a full suite of turbine and service products for China’s low- and medium-wind sites, reinvigorating the group’s long-standing commitment to the world’s largest wind energy market.

"The CGN Fujian Anxi Longmen Wind Farm Project will help increase the proportion of clean energy in the province and we are very pleased that CGN (Anxi) Wind Power Co. Ltd has chosen to work with us on yet another project."

Vestas expects to begin the delivery of the wind turbines in the third quarter of 2015.

The deal also includes a two-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service agreement.
