The contracts were awarded to ABB, LS Cable and System, and Nexas.
ABB will design, supply and install three high-voltage alternating current 220kV submarine cables totaling about 100km.
LS Cable and System will supply around 95km of 220kV onshore cabling while Nexas will deliver nearly 20km of 400kV cable.
The grid connection also includes extensions of various onshore substations and two offshore substation platforms.
Energinet.dk will put the plants and components to tender later in 2015.
The offshore wind farm, which is expected to be commissioned in 2018, will increase Denmark’s wind power capacity to over 40% by generating enough energy for more than 600,000 households.
The cable laying is due to start in autumn 2016. The Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building approved Energinet.dk’s investments in the grid connection in December 2014.
Energinet.dk project manager Jens Christian Hygebjerg said: "With three different contracts, two of which have been concluded with new suppliers, we are cementing our strength in the cable market and improving our possibilities of concluding favourable contracts in the years ahead, where we will be placing large parts of the Danish overhead line network underground."
As part of its Green Energy plan, Denmark intends to stop using fossil fuels by 2050.
