The contract requires Vestas to deliver 25 V100-2MW turbines for a project in Ningxia province, northwest China.
Vestas plans to deliver the turbines in March 2015, with installation anticipated to be completed in the second quarter of the year.
The order also includes a Vestas Online Scada system and a two-year AOM4000 service agreement.
The contract marks Vestas’ fourth order in 2014 from Hanas, which has taken 600MW from the Danish wind turbines manufacturer since 2009.
Vestas Asia Pacific and China president Chris Beaufait said: "We celebrate yet another order from long-time Vestas partner Hanas – the fourth order they have placed with us this year.
"We have been working closely with Hanas for several years to provide them with products and solutions to match their on-site wind conditions and maximize their energy output."
Hanas president Ma Fuqiang said: "We have a strong commitment to wind energy, and we are looking for a long-term trusted partner who can help us achieve a good return on investment. Vestas deployed its initial wind turbines in China in 1986. The company’s largest global manufacturing complex in Tianjin manufactures generators, blades, nacelles, hubs and control systems.
As of 30 June 2014, Vestas has installed over 4,300MW of turbines in China.
