Nordex will deliver seven of its N117/3000 turbines to Turkish telecoms firm Erdem for the Odemis wind farm, located south-east of Izmir near the Aegean coast.
The company will manufacture the rotor blades, towers and anchor cages in Turkey, which will allow Erdem to claim a higher feed-in tariff for the development.
The order with Erdem includes a five-year service contract.
Nordex has also secured an order from Edincik Enerji to support the expansion of Edincik wind farm at the Marmara Sea from 30MW to 56.4MW.
The company will supply 11 of its N117/2400 turbines designed for light wind sites and the order includes a six-year service agreement.
The third contract with Bursa Temiz Enerji is for an extension of the 25MW Bandirma III wind farm to 41.8MW with seven Nordex N117/2400 turbines.
The wind farm is situated in the Marmara region and the extension is Nordex’s second wind project with Bursa Temiz.
