Cecil Bond Kyte, chairman and CEO of STWA stated, This is one of the most significant milestones in the Company’s history, and we are very proud of everyone who worked so hard to make this day a reality. A CARB Executive Order, which includes an Air Resources Board (ARB) engineering evaluation, provides us with an important exemption to the emission control system anti-tampering laws. This means the products are approved as after-market add-on products in the State of California, and since the EPA recognizes California’s testing, it can also be sold in all fifty states. Furthermore, CARB has made this a universal exemption, allowing its use on any motor vehicle through the 2008 model year.

Charles Blum, president of STWA commented, If you have an automotive part that either affects emissions or the emission control system of a motor vehicle you cannot legally sell it in California or the other states without obtaining a CARB EO. That basically says your part does not negatively affect the emission controls or emissions when used on the intended application. he added, To obtain the EO we submitted the MagChargR to the CARB, whom upon evaluation determined what tests it needed to undergo. We couldn’t be more pleased to have reached this milestone.
