According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, this Go Green initiative has conserved 33,900 mature trees, 925,000 gallons of oil, 47,900 gallons of gasoline, 8,198,000 kilowatt hours of electricity, 13,996,000 gallons of water, and 6,900 cubic yards of landfill airspace.

“As a leading provider of records management services, we are focused on storing our clients’ business records today as we help them transition to a paperless environment tomorrow. Based on these efforts, it was only natural that we find new ways to improve our community as well. With this in mind, we launched our Go Green initiative in 2007, and are very pleased with our continued results,” explained Andy Koval, Executive vice president of Archive Systems.

ASPEN 360 Virtual Records Center enables companies to request the virtual file delivery of documents, eliminating driving emissions. Because the files are available online, there will be no requirement to make copies to distribute. It also enables AP processors to work from home.
