JSC Nenskra Hydro is joint venture between Korea Water Resources (K-water) and the Georgian Government.

Work under the contract is scheduled to be complete in 62 months.

The Nenskra hydroelectric project is designed to improve energy exports in Georgia while contributing to the economic and social development.

Work under the project includes construction of a main dam, a weir on the Nakra river, a transfer tunnel, a headrace tunnel to the powerhouse and the actual open-air powerhouse with four vertical-axis Pelton turbines.
