The plants will be part of the four nuclear plants Iran is planning to build.
Atomic Energy Organization of Iran head Ali Akbar Salehi said that the construction of four nuclear power plants will be carried out simultaneously in the next two or three years in Iran which will engage over 20,000 engineers and nuclear scientists.
Indo-Asian News Service cited Salehi as saying: "In accordance with the joint action plan (on Iran’s nuclear program), the future of stored uranium will be decided in the next four-five months."
Salehi said that the country has heavy water reserves of 90 tons and seven to eight tons of Uranium.
ISNA news agency quoted Salehi as saying: "Iran’s national nuclear industry is now entering a new phase, which will be justified both in terms of costs and benefits."
Recently, Iran has agreed on a deal to provide international observers access to its nuclear sites in exchange of lifting of certain sanctions.
The deal with the US, the UK, France, China, Russia and Germany will allow Iran to keep its nuclear material for ten years.
