The agreement has been signed between Peninsula’s subsidiary Strata Energy and Aldershot Resources’ subsidiary Royal USA.

The Hauber project includes 44 mineral claims covering 1,760 acres situated abiut 15 miles to the north-northeast of the Lance Projects in Wyoming.

It produced about 2.6 million pounds U3O8 at an average grade of 2,200ppm U3O8 during the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Peninsula Energy should make a cash payment of $20,000 and be responsible for all future ongoing costs for maintaining the properties.

In the coming months, the company will undertake a detailed analysis of the acquired data and develop an exploration and delineation drilling program for future implementation.

Peninsula Energy said historic mineralization has been found by earlier holders of Hauber with mineralized intercepts ranging from surface to a depth of about 500ft below surface.

Peninsula Energy MD/CEO Gus Simpson said: "As the largest uranium mineral rights holder in the northeast Powder River Basin and with a CPP licensed to produce up to 3 million pounds per annum, Peninsula is ideally placed to evaluate Hauber as a possible satellite of the Lance Projects."
