A call for tender has been issued for the production and installation of metal foundations for Marine Renewable Energies in the port of Cherbourg.

With a view to making Cherbourg a major MRE hub, the Ports of Normandy Authority (PNA) is strengthening the infrastructure of the port, with the creation of a quay adapted to the handling of heavy loads. The site will undergo further extension works during 2014.

The company that is awarded the contract will carry out the production of the metal foundations that are required for the MRE activity’s expansion in the region.

The deadline for submission of tenders is midday on 31 January 2014.

The specifications and annexes, as well as the conditions for the tender, are available on www.pna-ports.fr.
