The company will supply 25 turbines to the Wayu farm, one at the Subplu1 facility and the remaining four to Subplu2 farm.

The wind farms are located in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, in central Thailand.

Gamesa plans to deliver the turbines later this year. The machines are planned to be commissioned in 2016.

The scope of the deal covers maintenance services for the next ten years.

Gamesa said that the contract is the first for its G114-2.0 MW turbines in Asia Pacific. The company has installed a total capacity of more than 5,500MW in Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka, China and India.
