The new charging station is verifiable compliant with BMW i3, Volkswagen e-up! and e-Golf, and other CCS cars that are expected to be available in the market from autumn 2013.
The cloud connected Terra 53, which features functional design, advanced technology, is compatible with any charging network or payment & billing platform through open standards based interfaces, such as the widely adopted Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP).
Smart connectivity of the charging station will enable remote monitoring, pro-active maintenance and functional upgrades providing customers with the tools necessary to gather customer specific usage statistics and reports.
The Terra 53 C is expected to be available from summer 2013 throughout Europe, while the dual outlet configurations will be available in the same compact form factor for the German market from autumn 2013.
In addition, a triple outlet version will follow when CHAdeMO is added.
