Blue Eagle Energy, a joint venture between Abraxas and Rock Oil, drilled the T Bird 1H well in DeWitt County to a total measured depth of 19,450ft, including a 5,700ft lateral.
The well was completed with a 15-stage fracture stimulation and recently placed on-line at a restricted rate approximately 75 days after spud.
According to Abraxas, the well is being opened up slowly to prevent formation damage.
Abraxas currently holds an approximate 50% interest in Blue Eagle Energy.
