The wind facility will be constructed with an investment of approximately PLN223m ($77.65m), and will be co-financed through the Social Cohesion Fund of the European Union.

The Golice power project will have nineteen 2MW wind turbines and is anticipated to begin commercial operations by the end of this year.

The facility will generate clean energy equivalent to the consumption of approximately 40,000 Polish homes and is expected to avoid the emission of 77,625 metric tons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere every year.

The Golice windpark is located in the municipality of the same name in the province of Lubuskie, in the western part of the country close to the German border, in an area with high wind power potential.
