The 150,000 barrels per day (bpd) refinery was suspended for about two months due to a blast that damaged the main oil pipeline from Marib.

Reuters quoted a refinery official that the refinery will start normal production at one of its two units, if the trial production goes well.

Each unit will have a capacity of 75,000bpd, following a facility upgrade which had been undertaken.

Yemen is expected to receive four more shipments of crude from Saud Arabia, which donated three million barrels of oil.
